WHAT ARE COOKIES?

This Website whose property and ownership lies with MORMEDI, S.L. (hereinafter, "the Website") uses cookies and/or similar technologies that are tools used by web servers that store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to provide a correct operation of the site. The use of these devices allows the web server to remember some data concerning the user, such as your preferences for viewing the pages of such server, name and password, products that most interest you, etc.

COOKIES AFFECTED BY LAW AND EXEMPT COOKIES

According to Directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 12 July 2002, concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector (Directive on privacy and electronic communications), the cookies that require the user’s informed consent are analytical, advertising and affiliation cookies...  

Session cookies and ‘user access’ cookies, user identification or authentication, user security, media player, load balancing, user interface personalization and plug-in cookies to exchange social content are considered exempt cookies.

TYPES OF COOKIES

Depending on the entity managing the device or domain from which the cookies are sent and processing the data obtained, the following categories may be established:  

1. Own cookies: those for which the editor is responsible and which are generally sent to the user’s computer from a device or domain managed by the editor themselves, and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

2. Third-party cookies: those for which an entity other than the editor is responsible and which are generally sent to the user's computer from a device or domain not managed by the editor, but by another entity that processes any data obtained through cookies.

Depending on the storage period, the following categories may be established:  

1. Session cookies: those designed to collect and store data while users access a website.  

2. Persistent cookies: those cookies on which data remain stored on the computer and may be accessed and processed for a period of time defined by the cookie manager, which may range from a few minutes to several years.

On the one hand, this Website uses its own technical cookies for which the user's consent is not needed, as they are excluded from the scope of application of article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
