Jaime started Architecture at the Madrid Polytechnic and then moved to Switzerland where he received a Degree in Transportation Design at the Art Center College of Design. Afterwards he upgraded his studies taking seminars at Harvard, IESE, IE and Saint Louis University Business School.

He started his career as a design consultant for Philips at the Domestic Appliances department in Holland. After founding Mormedi in 1997 he has grown his company with high level national and international projects for companies like Airbus, Air Europa, Alstom, BMW AG, BBVA, Banco Santander, Caf, Fagor, Hino, Iberia, LG, Nissan, Philips, RATP, Renfe, Siemens, Rodman, Telefonica, Toyota, Virgin Atlantic among many others.

Several of Mormedi products have been recognized with international awards such as Good Design, Red Dot and IF. Over the last 10 years Jaime has been giving lectures at Harvard University London, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Stuttgart and he has also been a juror in several international design awards. Recently he has been awarded the National Design Award 2015.

Maruan holds an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. He has 15 years of international experience, with roles in both communications and corporate strategy.

Maruan spent some years working in strategic communications in Tokyo, where he managed partnerships with companies in 15 countries, and designed an innovative digital healthcare marketing campaign—the first of its kind in Japan—reaching over 63 million people in its first year.

‍

After graduating with honours from IE Business School’s International MBA program, Maruan focused on business strategy as a management consultant in London. Maruan managed teams to carry out the commercial due diligence process for a number of large firms, identified acquisition targets for merger deals worth in excess of US$100m, and formulated the profitability strategy for a major business unit of one of the UK’s top 5 retailers

Roland is an industrial designer with more than 20 years of international experience.

He developed an international career in studios such as Tangeine UK where he was Lead Designate and worked with companies such as LG, Samsung, Hyundai and the Korean airline Asiana. He was also named Head of Priestmangoode in China and Design Director at Kohler UK.

Roland also has academic experience as a visiting tutor at the Royal College of Art.

Many of Roland's designs have been recognized with the highest international awards such as Reddot and IF.

Juliane graduated with a Master in Industrial Design, at the Academy of Fine and Applied Arts in Stuttgart, Germany, under the mentorship of Prof. Richard Sapper. Since joining Mormedi in 2010, she has contributed to positioning the firm as a world-class strategic design and innovation consultancy.

She has over 25 years of experience working at the interface between design and research/strategy for major Spanish, German, Italian and American companies. While at Teague (2001-2009) she was part of the team that developed the conceptual and logical basis for the interior of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. For 8 years she collaborated with the Boeing Concept Center leading several initiatives related to the systematisation of innovation practices, cultural change, universal design, future scenarios and future concepting.

Her final master project, a nursery concept inside an aircraft, developed in collaboration with Airbus, was awarded the prize for the best thesis of the German State for Young Designers and was exhibited at the Deutsche Museum in Munich. In addition, Juliane holds more than 20 US patents, including a patent for the interior design of an aircraft, and has spoken at numerous conferences in the US and Europe.

Blake has over 25 years of international experience delivering compelling products and services across the physical and digital. He began as a product designer, studying at Victoria University, New Zealand. After 6 years at innovative appliance maker, Fisher & Paykel, Blake headed to New York with 5 years at the renown studio Smart Design. He was instrumental in setting up and running their European office in Barcelona for another 6 years.

After a 6-year stint running his own agency, Zinc, Blake joins forces with Mormedi to oversee creative and technical direction. With a passion for solving complex, systematic problems where Culture, People, Space, Objects and new Technologies intersect. Guiding innovation across categories with brands like Samsung, Unilever, Nestle, HP and Start-ups looking to innovate and grow.

Luis holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica in Madrid. He has over 18 years of experience working as engineer, assuming both technical and managing responsibilities. His professional career was mainly developed in international consultancy companies.

As an engineer, Luis expertise covers the complete process from designing and manufacturing to structures, interior and installations assembling, in several different mechanical systems. He is experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams, bridging the work of profiles such as manufacturers, airlines and certifiers.

As a manager, he led the department of interior design working for train manufacturers. He was responsible of ensuring the design was feasible and met all the technical specifications.

‍

As a consultant, he led projects in the aeronautical industry, such as the development of market studies for an airplane seat manufacturer.

‍

Luis holds expertise in aeronautical regulations, specialized in Part 21 (DOA & POA certification process).

Silvia holds a Degree in Pharmacy from University of Navarra, Spain.

‍

She previously worked for several years as a Genetics Engineering Researcher at the Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro, in Madrid.

‍

Afterwards she moved to the pharmaceutical company Eli&Lilly, where she acted as a MQA coordinator. Combining her background in science with organizational passion.

Junko studied Design at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music in Japan. She has over 30 years of experience as product designer, strategic designer and creative director at Ziba Design where she developed and led Consumer Insights and Trend team. Within her experience, she also collaborates as a lecturer at Aichi Prefectural University and Vantan Design Institute.
